This application is an older method of email ingress/egress and is due for deprecation Q3 2024


Upgrade Steps

  1. Go into the task scheduler, and end the task called ‘NHserver’ or what you have named it
  2. Copy the NHserver version you have downloaded and paste it into the win folder within your halo files. You will then have to select the correct UDL file.
  3. Rename the old NHserver.exe to NHServer-Old.exe, we keep this around just in case it is needed for any reason
  4. Rename the new NHserver (NHserver13.58.2.2.exe in the above case) to NHserver.exe
  5. Manually run the NHserver and allow it to do the upgrade. You will have to select a udl file to run NHServer. The client should know which file is used but in case they are unsure you can check their incoming mail task. This can be done within task scheduler > incoming mail task / nhserver > actions > then it should say which udl file is being used. 
  6. Restart the task called ‘NHserver’ or what you have named it
